Walking home around midnight I saw this interesting combination of patterns and shadows

From 60 to 70 again

I'm fascinated by what is happening with couples from 60 to 70. How do they cope with the fact that they are considered old (in the eye of the let's say 50 minus). How are they trying to stay "young? How is their appearance developing in clothing and posture? Is the apparent aging of men and women syncronous?
